Saturday's Statement
Friendships and relationships. Something I know I need on a daily basis. Someone to help and support me in times when I need it, and other times when friends are their to give you that kick in the right direction. I have had both which have been a real blessing. One more thing to thank God for. Sometimes we need to stop and think about the things God has done for us and given to us. Often times I am just to busy to take that time, but it is a great reminder to give thanks and with a grateful heart. All the blessings that we normally take for granted (friends, family, a job, freedom,) and the list can go on. Thanks God.

Hi Mike, before i read your blog today, i was journaling to/with the Lord: it was about relationship. if you'd like to eavesdrop here it is.
You are REAL God. help me to more clearly recognize that. intimacy with You, the REAL God is what i desire and it can only be fulfilled with You: the REAL God.
i say this in contrast to the FALSE God i have often seen You as and therefore had a false relationship. i'm not talking about golden calves and the like (although i've created my share along the way), i'm talking about a God in my head only--one i know a lot about, one largely but not totally about knowledge--not intimate relationship. the intimacy would be at best the relationship one has with a library rather than with a person.
YOU are a person. YOU desire and require a heart not a head relationship, not that the head is void, but it is secondary to the heart because YOU are real, an intimate relationship with You must flow from the heart--not cold and detached like a book...like a bible (did i just step on a sacred cow)...like an old love letter BUT rather a person, more, my very CREATOR who knows His purpose and plans for me: good plans out of perfect love.
the very fulfillment of my existance is only revealed in intimacy with You, GOD: Abba Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.
walking and talking with You, Lord, seeing and hearing what You see and say, then obeying You, that's life as You meant it!
Finally, ultimate intimacy is being one with my/our Lord--one bride. i have an unclear picture of this perhaps in the best man/wife earthly intimacy that i could call to mind but it is hardly a foretaste. Come Lord Jesus! all of me for all of YOU. it's a good deal; it's a great deal; it is infact YOUR very heart's desire. Thankfully Yours.

hi mike, just a quick note. your friend steve has wonderful insight - i hope he can help you figure out some of the things that a few women might not be able to understand.
It is great to get insight from everyone in here. I appreciate all of it.
